Funeral Services for JoAnn T. Hartig nee Williams will begin with prayers Wednesday at 10:15a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to St. Ansgar Church for a mass at 11:00a.m. Following mass cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 3:00 – 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
A resident of Hanover Park since 1969, JoAnn was born May 21, 1937 in Chicago and died March 7, 2009.
A longtime parishioner of St. Ansgar Church, she is also a proud member of the Red Hat Society, T.O.P.S. Club for over 20 years, St. Ansgar Club 59 and volunteered at Hanover Township Senior Center.
JoAnn is the beloved wife of 42 years of Robert J., loving mother of Julia of Streamwood, Susan Lloyd of Elgin, Merry Estes of Hanover Park, Sherri (Darryl) Schroeder of Streamwood and Robert of Fox Lake; cherished grandmother of 13, proud great-grandmother of 3 with 1 one the way, dear sister of Donald, Patricia, Joseph, John, Timothy, Bernard, Nancy, Robert, Helene, Eileen and the late Thomas and Mary Ellen. She is the fond aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.
