Joann Lynn Barnes

Joann Lynn Barnes, of Streamwood, IL, beloved mother of two boys, David and Bryan Barnes, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2025. Born September 13th, 1955 in Chicago to Patricia and Ralph Morey. Graduated from Driscoll High-school in Addison in 1973.

She dedicated over 30 years working for Pella Windows. Had a passion for designing, photography, serving on a grand jury, and making stained glass for family and friends. She loved spending time with friends and family. Loved traveling. She was always trying to make others feel better.

She was married to Victor Barnes for 27 years. Divorced in 2015 but remained great friends. He helped with her treatment, made sure she stayed on top of medications, took her to appointments, and helped around the house when she wasn't strong enough.

She was known for her generosity, kindness, and joyful spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky to have known her.
