Joan H. Tuma, 70, of Schaumburg died Thursday, June 11, 2009. Born January 19, 1939 in Chicago. She was the daughter of Joseph and Lottie Bohanek. She was a master gardener specializing in Delphiniums and Austin Roses appreciating the difficulty it took to get them to grow. She also enjoyed watching hummingbirds.
Survivors include her three sons Mark (Monica), Scott (Angela) and Dan (Mary); grandchildren Michelle, Mariah, Ryan and Shyana; and Abbey girl for Nana.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 –9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Rd, Bartlett. Prayers Tuesday 9:15 a.m. going to St. Marcelline, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection.
