Joan Schoening

Joan Schoening of Streamwood; loving mother of Sandy (Michael) Otten; cherished grandmother of Ernie (Kristi) Nauertz and great-grandmother of Bradley Nauertz and Nicholas Wootten; dear sister of Jim Estep; caring owner of Trixie and Manny; preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Beadell and Lewis Schoening and her parents Joseph and Martha Estep. Joan loved animals, especially squirrels. She was a member of the Streamwood Lions Club, the Historical Society and one of the first members of the Streamwood Women’s Club. Visitation Sunday 2:00p.m. until time of service 6:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations made to an animal charity of your choice would be appreciated.
