Joan H. Broderick, 76, of Bartlett died Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home.
Born April 2, 1933 in Chicago. Joan was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine, nee Espinosa, Savala. She enjoyed family gatherings and her pets.
Survivors include loving children Ann (Paul) Brewer, Debra (Tish Bolger), Mary, Kathy (Michael) Schultz, Noreen (Fred) Lopez, Linda (Bob) Hreno, Geri (Scott Reich), Tim, Dawn Villarreal, Teri, and Lori (Brian) Blahous. 29 cherished grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Caring sisters Marian, Dorothy, and Gloria and fond pets, Margie and Kitty.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert; loving daughter Sheila, dear parents and caring sisters, Theresa, Virginia, and Evelyn.
Visitation Monday 3 – 9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 a.m. to St Peter Damian Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Holy Hill, www.holyhill.com.
