Jo Sommer

Jo Ann Sommer (nee Gullo) unexpectedly passed away at her home on May 13, 2017. Born April 5, 1943 raised in Chicago, long time resident of Wood Dale. Beloved wife of Herman; loving mom of Vincent (Johna), Stacey (Daryl) Sladek and Nicole (Brent) Fentem; cherished grandma of Brayden, Brianna, Brooke, Danielle (Jeremiah), Zachary, Gabrielle and Cole; dear great grandma of Luke and Tristan; kind daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa (nee Lump) Gullo. Jo Ann loved her family and was devoted to her husband, children and grand children. She will be remembered for her loving, compassionate and giving heart. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral procession will begin Friday at 9:15a.m. with a 10:00a.m. Mass at Resurrection Church in Bartlett. Entombment St Joseph Cemetery.
