Jivabhai Patel

Jivabhai P. Patel, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 89 at his residence in South Barrington. He was born in Jantral India on January 6, 1931. Javibhai was a proud graduate master of arts and also mastered in history. He was a professor; a faculty member of the highest academic rank at Patan and Anand Institute of Economics and History. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with the family and especially his grandchildren, advising principal of life. He was a perfectionist and hard working person.


Jivabhai was the beloved husband of Shantaben J. Patel; loving father of Dasharathbhai, Bharatbhai, Hemantbhai, Ushaben; dear Father In Law of Milankumar, Taraben, Ritaben and Hinaben; proud grandfather of Rashesh (Talak), Alpa (Lokesh), Steven, Archan (Mohini), Ashka (Abhishek), Jay (Julieth), Manisha, Namrata "Nikki", Riya and Ohm.


Visitation Saturday December 19, 10:00 until time of cremation 12noon at Countryside Funeral Home at Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory.
