Jitka Karkos (nee Slama), 94, of Medinah died August 6, 2022. Jitka was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Karkos; loving mother of Thomas D. (Donna) and Mark (Maria); proud grandmother of Bradley, Jena, Joe, Peter, Eric and Aaron; cherished sister of the late Zdenak.
Jitka enjoyed skiing, boating and sewing. She was also an avid gardener.
A graveside service will be held Monday August 15, 2022 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park 30W730 US-20, Elgin, IL 60120. Everyone is encourage to please join the family. Cremation was private at Countryside Crematory.
