Jim Pearce

Jim Gordon Pearce, one of the original residents of Carol Stream, husband of Dodie, nee Snell, for 52 years; dad of Scott Allen (Terri Lynn), Nancy Sue (Bob) Heath and Casey Pearce; grandpa of Derek, Kelsey, Chris (Colleen) and Tyler; great grandpa of Philip and Mcayla; brother of Willie, Henry (late Lucille), Calvin (Debbie) and Shirley (Lloyd). Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also very proud of his Cherokee Indian heritage. His passions included being an award winning gardener, expert, self taught wood carver, jewelry maker, silver smith and guitar crafstman. Melinda, his rescued, black lab never left his side. Jim was a very generous man never wanting anything in return. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
