Jill Anne Alcozer (nee Erikson) 48, of Chicago passed away suddenly on February 8th. Jill was the cherished daughter of Donald and Carolyn Erikson (nee Wischmeyer). She married the love of her life, Roberto Alcozer, and felt blessed to become part of the extended Alcozer family. Jill was adored by sisters Wendy Erikson Anstine (Todd) and Kristi Aldag (Matt) and was the “best aunt in the world” to Amanda, Carl, Lindsey, Allison, Erika and Erik.
Jill was a graduate of St. Peter Lutheran School and Hersey High School in Arlington Heights. She acted in school plays and was a talented artist. After graduating from the University of Iowa she worked as a preschool teacher as well as an executive assistant at a Chicago law firm. Our sweet, sensitive, caring Jill loved Lifetime movies, her cats and looking out onto Lake Michigan. Most of all she loved her family and being Auntie Jilly.
A Memorial Celebration of Jill’s life will take place Saturday, February 13th at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107. Visitation 3pm-7pm with a service at 7pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make-A-Wish (wish.org). Information 630-289-8054
