Jesse Manuel Rivera, Jr.

Jesus "Jesse" Manuel Rivera, Jr. 59, of South Elgin died June 18, 2020. Jesse was the beloved husband of Cynthia; loving father of Elaine Nichols, Jason Rivera and Jessica (John) Talmo; proud grandfather of Marisa, Nathaniel, Joey and Katie; loving brother of Maria, Vicente, Laverne, Morris, David, the late Lucy Rivera, Jewel Rivera and Nina Gills. Jesse will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Jesse loved to play guitar, he was self taught, a song writer, singer and a great musician. He loved to be silly, make jokes, and make people laugh. Jesse also enjoyed going for walks and was an awesome dancer. He was a proud Navy veteran.

Visitation Friday July 3, 10:00am until time of service 11:00am at Evangel Church 5700 Bartels Road, Hanover Park. Burial Queen of Heaven.

**Due to COVID-19 restrictions services will be held outside of the church. Please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Chairs will not be provided.
