Visitation for Jerry L. Hise of Elgin, will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 2:00p.m. until time of memorial service 5:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Rd. (at State St.) South Elgin. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.

Born March 4, 1951 in Harrisburg, IL, Jerry died Saturday, June 11, 2016.

He is the beloved husband of 41 years of Kim E. nee Kuefner; loving father of Amanda and Lt. Col. Benjamin Retzinger and Kristie and Shaun Quaderer; proud grandfather of Ethan and Kelvin Retzinger and Wyatt and Celia Quaderer; cherished son of Wanda and the late Woodrow Hise; dear brother of Jeanette and Denny Lee, Kay and Dave Jenkins and Wendy and Angelo Guardi; fond son-in-law of Suzanne and the late Kenneth Kuefner; treasured brother-in-law of Kristie and Tony Trapino, II, Jaimie and John Kwasegroch and Tracy and Al Russo; adored uncle of Kelly (Steve), Jennifer, Mike, Melissa, Danny, Colin (Lisa and the girls), Anthony (Kristin and the boys), Austin, Katie, Alex and Nick.

He will also be missed by his "best forever friends" Derek and Cheryl Moose and family, Dean and Karen Moose and family, Devin and Chris Moose and family and many extended family and friends.
