Services for Jerome "Jerry" Cipowski: The wake is scheduled for Sunday, February 8th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 333 S. Roselle Road, Roselle. Burial will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026, beginning with a service at Countryside Funeral Home at 10:30am, followed by a funeral procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162, for a graveside ceremony.

Jerome Anthony Cipowski Sr., born on September 11, 1952, to Harry and Elenor Cipowski, passed away on the evening of February 1st at age 73, surrounded by family and friends. Jerry shared 54 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara Jo Cipowski (Allen), who stood by his side through all of life's ups and downs. He was a devoted father and pillar of support to Marie June (the late Corey) Ryan and Jerome "Jay" (Danielle) Cipowski. That same steadfastness extended to his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Gramps.” Jerome was the grandfather of Alexis Clark, Riley Ryan, Caleb Ryan, Gavin Cipowski, and Summer Cipowski, and the treasured great-grandfather of Thomas Sims. His involvement and support meant everything to his grandchildren, and their love for him ran deep. Jerome was also the loving younger brother of the late Barbara Cipowski-Silvey and a proud uncle to Stacey Rhody and Christie Myers.

Jerry was known for his lifelong dedication to hard work, often holding multiple jobs at a time, yet he never missed an event important to his children or grandchildren. He served School District 44 for over 25 years. Beyond his work, Jerome enjoyed baseball, cars, and collecting coins. Loved and cherished by his family, he will be deeply missed.
