Jenkins "JJ" Rego, Jr., 24, died May 23, 2025. JJ was the cherished son of Jacqueline (Michael) Godinez and Jenkins Rego, Sr.; dear brother of Ella Sofia Godinez, Evelyn Rubi Godinez; beloved grandson of Elsa Aviles, Ricardo Gonzalez and Elsa Frias. JJ will be missed by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and his dogs Oner and Bushi.

JJ was a gamer, he enjoyed playing video games, he was a Sonic fan and loved watching anime.

Visitation Friday May 30, 10:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood. Entombment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. If flowers are sent in JJ's memory, the family would like everyone to know that his favorite color was red.
