On Sunday, January 2, 2022, Jeffrey Philip Veselka, loving son, brother, and dog and cat dad, passed away suddenly at the age of 34.
Jeff was born on June 18, 1987, the youngest of four brothers. Growing up with teenagers he was sophisticated beyond his years.
Beloved by his many coworkers and friends, Jeff had a rare and coveted quality that others have described as effortless, gentle, and intuitive. These traits made him a natural fit in the service industry where his inherent hospitality and kindness always put others at ease. He was a team player and never made excuses, which lent itself to life as well as his job.
Class clown since elementary school, he had a unique ability to make people laugh and an encyclopedic knowledge of movie quotes.
His hobbies were varied and sometimes surprising. He loved snowboarding, skateboarding, video games, movies, and comedy specials. He played guitar and trumpet and enjoyed many different musical genres. Bob Dylan and the Beatles were among his favorites. Over the years, he was fond of making comedy videos with his friends.
The world sparked his interest, and the world will be less interesting without him. He is survived by his parents; Joseph and Mary Kay Veselka, siblings; Michael (Jill), Joseph (Ryan), Daniel, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Thursday June 16, 2022 at Lakewood Memorial Park 30W730 US-20, Elgin Illinois. meet at 11:00am
