Jeffrey George Patryn, 70, of South Elgin, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026. George was a devout long time Beatles fan, especially of John Lennon. He was a dedicated family man who also enjoyed the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. Beloved husband of 31 years to Victoria J. (nee Hall); loving father of Angela (William) Hasty and Jeffrey William (Amanda Shinners) Patryn; cherished grandfather of Kelsey Hasty, Javier (Carmen Olandez) Hasty, Gia (Brendan) Whiting, Alyssa Grigsby, Liam Hasty, and Oliver Patryn; proud great grandfather of Maverick; dear brother of Martin (Linda) Patryn, the late Frank Patryn, the late Victoria (Greg) Pullen, and the late Mary Ellen Patryn; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with prayers at 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.), South Elgin.
