Jeffrey Hartjes

Jeffrey “Jeff” E. Hartjes, 54, of Chicago, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023 surrounded by family. Born November 16, 1968 in Chicago. Jeff was very athletic and loved sports. He was an avid Cardinals fan and will be best remembered for his sense of humor. Beloved son of Ria and the late Louis Hartjes; loving brother of Harry (Carmen), Louis, Diane, Bruce, Edward Hartjes and the late Denise Williams; cherished uncle of Caitlin, Loek, Stefaan, Riley, Bastiaan, Mandy, Alexis; kind great uncle of Ezra, Eliza, Elena, Eliot, Miles and long time partner of Erika Thiessen. Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
