Born January 2, 1961 in Collinswood to David Jarl and Audrey Guy, he passed away suddenly Thursday, July 15. Jeffery was a 1979 graduate of Conant High School where he was the quarterback for his football team. After high school he went into the construction trade.
His survivors include his mother Audrey Guy and aunt, Carol Crain of Hanover Park, brothers David A. guy, Larry (Kathy) Guy and Peter Guy; several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends. Preceding him in death were his father, his maternal grandparents James and Esther DesRochers, his paternal grandparents George and Helen Guy, uncle Richard Crain.
Jeffrey was raised in a close knit family with his brothers and three cousins, Richard, Phillip and Timothy Crain in the family home in Hanover Park. It was this home he returned to in 2007 to help his mother and aunt with tasks from cooking and cleaning to home improvement While Jeffery will be dearly missed by his family, his loss will be deeply felt by many people in the ageing neighborhood. Jeffrey and his childhood friend, Paul Polecastro could be found most everyday mowing lawns, shoveling snow or cooking dinner for their dear friends that needed just a little extra help. In return he was gifted with a beverage and a smile. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider remembering Jeffery by following his example.
