Jeanette K. Marino

Jeanette K. Marino, a beloved resident of Kirkland, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on December 28, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, Jeanette was a cherished daughter to the late Salvatore and Josephine Caccamo.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jeanette is survived by her loving children: Jo Anna (Phil) Rotstein, Michelle (Brian) Stefan, and Thomas D. (Karen) Marino. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren: Felicia (Brad) Grondfeldt, Joey Congine, Joey Spata, Josephine Spata, Olivia Rotstein, Nick Rotstein, Thomas J. Marino, and Vincent Marino. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandsons, Ryan and Luke Grondfeldt.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas A. Marino, her parents, Salvatore and Josephine Caccamo, her granddaughter, Gena Gountanis, and her dear siblings, Marie Rabe and Rose Giambri.

As a devoted housewife, Jeanette's life was woven with love and care. She took immense pride in raising her grandchildren, offering them the same warmth and kindness that she extended to everyone she met. Jeanette was an extraordinary caretaker whose nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on her family.

Her days were filled with joy from simple pleasures—sharing sweets and pastries over coffee, solving crossword puzzles, and completing word searches. Jeanette's love for her dogs and her unwavering faith brought her immense comfort throughout her life. Her devout spirituality and regular prayers served as a guiding light for those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle, IL. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Parish, 427 W Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. Jeanette will be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
