Jeanette Deroo

Jeanette DeRoo, 95, of South Elgin, passed away peacefully Monday, June 30, 2025. Jeanette was referred to as the Social Butterfly and was devoted to her lifelong friends. She was known for always remebering everyone's birthdays and also enjoyed crocheting blankets. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and the late Suzanna (nee Symoens) DeRoo; loving sister of the late Frank (the late Dorothy) DeRoo; fond aunt of Susan (Joseph) Baker, Debra DeRoo, Michael (Susan) DeRoo, David DeRoo, Kathy (Randy Rasner) DeRoo, Kevin (Cheryl) DeRoo, Tim (Patty) DeRoo, Mary Lowden, and Mark (Michelle) DeRoo; proud aunt of 19 great nieces and nephews; dear godmother of Barbara DeRoo. Visitation Saturday, July 5 from 11:00am until time of Mass 12:00pm at the chapel at St. Peter Damian Church 309 E. North Ave., Bartlett, IL. Interment Bartlett Cemetery.
