Jean R. Werner (nee Meier), 97, of Roselle, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026. An avid bowler, Jean was known as an incredible cook and would always cook Sunday dinner for her family. Beloved wife of 75 years to Herb; loving mother of Carol (David) Strutzel, Jim (Melanie) Werner, and the late Gary Werner; devoted grandmother of Amy (Johnny) Park, Simon (Christine) Werner, Jason Werner, Matthew (Rachel) Strutzel, Lindsay (Adrian) Torres, Nicholas (fiancee Hallie Dillon) Strutzel, Fred Werner, Amanda (Jeff) Osborn, and the late Bethani Werner; proud great grandmother of Jaden, Ashlyn, Addison, Drake, Charlie, August, Maddox, Beckham, Esme, Remy, Leah, and Elliott; dear sister of Darlene (the late Donald) Remus and the late Holly (the late Ray) Kijak; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, February 12 from 10:00am until time of funeral service 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church 405 Rush St., Roselle, IL.
