Jean Miller

Jean A. Miller, age 96, of Bartlett, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4th, 2026. Born on July 1st, 1929, in Chicago, IL, Jean lived a long and fulfilling life, dedicated to her family and her strong faith.

Jean was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving children: Robert Miller, Catherine (Robert) Lemke, Diane Batka, and Thomas (Jeanne) Miller. She was a proud grandmother to Matthew, Scott (Dana), Dawn (Brennan), and Robbie (Katie), and cherished her nine great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Jean will also be dearly missed by her brother Robert Smith.

Jean was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Walter Miller, with whom she shared many cherished years. She is also reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Clarence and Anna Smith, her brothers James (Dolores) Smith, Jack (Marge) Smith and Charles Smith, her daughter-in-law Nancy Miller, and her son-in-law Bruce Batka.

Throughout her life, she found great joy in watching her family grow and thrive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, from 10:00 am until time of service 12:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlett. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
