Janina Sawiniec

Janina Sawiniec, 89, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Born January 16, 1933 in Poland. Janina traveled to the U.S. when she was 48. She was a hard worker who always put her family and her faith first. She loved to dance, work in her garden and collect crystals. She will be missed. Beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mom of Alina (Andrzej) Gruszcynski and twins Ewa (John) Lenart and Mariola (Les) Kusnierz; cherished grandma of Krzysiek, Roxanne (Paul), John, Kevin, Greg (Sandra) and Klaudia (Bob); caring great grandma of Roksana, Zusanna, Lily, Lincoln, Fiona, Charlotte, Owen and Edyka; dear daughter of the late Stanislaw and Michalina Lesniewski and kind sister of the late Zosia (Henryk) Kurek and Helena (Franczisek) Walkowiak. Visitation 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 S Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Prayers Saturday 9:15 am at the funeral home to St Peter Damian Church, Mass 10:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
