Janina Kosek

Janina Kosek, 96, of Roselle since 1979, died peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at home. Born March 23, 1928 in Poland, Janina survived Nazi occupied Poland and Siberian concentration camps. She also lived in the Middle East, Kenya and the UK before coming to the United States. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Walter; loving mom of Diane and Jerry (Mistey) Kosek and cherished grandma of Dean, Mary and Ryan. Private services will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside. Memorial church services will be held at a later date.
