Janet Day

Janet Ann Day, 77, of Bloomingdale, IL passed away on April 11, 2023. A visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm until time of memorial service 4:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle, IL. Cremation was private.

Janet was born on May 10, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Edith (nee Busby) Wigginton. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years Thomas "Tom" Day; loving mother to Robert (Ellen) Day, Susan (David) Gutterman, and Sarah (Steven) Hardman; cherished grandmother to Grace, Austin, Erin, Mackenzie, Logan, Tessa, and Colton; dear sister to James Wigginton. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edith and her brother Harold Wigginton.

One of Janet's passion in life was sewing, she sewed all kinds of things including clothes and quilts. She would travel and go camping with her family. Janet was a Cubs fan, she was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
