Janet (Jan) Elizabeth Corel passed away on Jan 22nd, 2024 at the age of 75. She was born on April 13th 1948 to Elizabeth (Betty) Erickson and Arthur (Art) Stuart Erickson. She had one brother, Edward (Ed) Erickson.
She was born in Chicago, lived in Elk Grove Village for over 40 years, and recently moved to South Elgin.
She was a stay at home mother of three girls. Jan occasionally worked as a bank teller, which she loved. She enjoyed knitting and made many blankets. She enjoyed collecting clocks, odd pens, and stuffed animals. Most of all she enjoyed talking and telling stories.
She is survived by her husband Dale Corel, her three daughters (Dawn Simon, Bonnie Corel, and April Corel) as well as two grandchildren Alex Simon and Natalie Simon.
