James Sullivan

James Paul Sullivan, 67, of Elgin died unexpectedly on May 12,2025 He is survived and missed by his beautiful wife, Catherine (Jayko) of 47 years; loving father of Christy Marzano, Connie (Josh) Jepson, Paul (Elaine) Sullivan. Proud Papa of Declan, Aidan, Kael, Quinn, Lillian, Stella, Blair & Adeline. Brother to Patrick (Mary) & Michael (Kelly).  Brother-in-law to Larry (Patti) Jayko, Rick (Gina) Jayko, Julie (Don) Bush, Jeff(†Tracy) Jayko, Paul(†Sue) Jayko, Mike (Annie) Jayko.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Patrick, and his mother, Katherine he was born and raised in Chicago, he attended Taft high school which is where he met the love of his life Cathy.  They married at the young age of 20 & raised three beautiful children in the suburbs of Streamwood.  Over the years they’ve been fortunate to have lifelong friends, and incredible neighbors that have become part of the family.  Recently Jim & Cathy became retirees & have enjoyed working in the yard, traveling & golfing at the local golf courses.
