James Ridge

James A. Ridge, 73, of Carol Stream, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at home with family. Born April 2, 1942 in River Grove. James was the founder of Express Fasteners in Glendale Heights. He was a practical joker who loved to make people smile. James enjoyed being outdoors, golf, bowling and doing magic tricks for his family. He will be missed by his family and friends. Beloved husband of over 50 years to Patricia (nee Stack); loving dad of Sheila, Jim (Jodi), and Maureen (Dave) Watkins; cherished grandpa of Tommy, Trisha (Justin) , Sean, Shannon, Jimmy, Jeffrey, David and Jack; dear great grandpa of Logan; caring son of the late William and Mary (nee Krisky) and brother of Bill, Gaye, Randy and the late Tim. Visitation 3:00p.m. until time of service 8:30p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Interment private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
