James “Jim” Neylon of South Elgin passed away Tuesday January 28, 2025. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife of 41 years, Barbara. His children Kevin (Maria), Brian (Cindy), Patricia (Joe) and Karen. His grandchildren Josephine, Brianna, Ashley, Elizabeth, Andrew, Eric, and Katie. He had two great grandchildren Naomi and Archer.
Jim was born on August 15, 1938. He served Honorably in the US Army from 1965-67. He retired from S&C Electric after 40 years in 2003. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Edna and Paul, his brothers Paul and Jerry and his Grandson Zachary. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial visitation 11:00am until time of memorial service 1:00pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, South Elgin.
