James E. "Jim" Nendze age 82, of Elgin formerly of Bloomingdale; beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Pries) loving father of Judith (Ludvig) Johansen and Kimberly (fiancé Michael Arena) Jones; proud grandfather of Katie (Brad Vorreyer) Johansen and Eric (Fiancée Mariah Dorsey) Johansen.
Jim was a proud US Army veteran and enjoyed being a greeter and ushering at Hosanna Lutheran Church. He throughly enjoyed the outdoors he loved to fish in his earlier years and in his later years enjoyed gardening.
Per Jim's wishes he will be cremated with an inurment at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
