James Mladonicky

Visitation for James R. Mladonicky, 68, of Streamwood, will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 3:00 p.m. until the time of service 7:30 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg, IL 60107.

James R. Mladonicky died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday September 24, 2017. Jim’s passing was due to multiple serious medical conditions.
He was born in Chicago to the late John and Helen Mladonicky. Jim served in the U.S. Navy until 1970. James married his wife Florence on October 15, 1997 and they lived in Streamwood for the past 19 years.
Jim enjoyed his career as a truck driver until he was forced to retire after a massive stroke in 1999. His lifelong love of classic cars was shown with his membership to the Chicago Gearheads where he met a lot of supportive and wonderful friends.
Jim will be dearly missed by his wife, Florence; brother Joe (Johnnie); daughters Tiana, Gemia, and Von; 10 grandchildren and his 2 great grandsons.
