James Mccormack

James Michael McCormack, 69, of South Elgin, lovingly called Jim, passed away on October 17, 2024. Jim was the beloved husband of Eustiquia “Josie” McCormack; loving father of Amanda Brown, Jessica (Enrique) Herrera and Patrick McCormack; proud grandfather of Elizabeth and Samantha, Mateo, Gabriel & Alana; dear brother of John McCormack, Dwight (Julie) McCormack, Joane (Bill) McLeod, Judd (Tomi) McCormack, Julie (Bruce) Middleton, and the late Jan McCormack. He will be missed by his cat Angel.

Jim was a retired Army veteran who loved to babysit his grandkids and play mini golf. He was very creative and made fun, decorative and mind-teaser items for his family and friends with his 3D printer. Josie and Jim loved spending time together.

Visitation Sunday, October 27th, 3:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. A prayer service will be held at 6:00pm.

Inunrment, Monday, October 28 ^th , 10:30am at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
