James Matson

James A. Matson, 62, of Bartlett, IL passed away on October 17, 2024. Jim was born on October 21, 1961, to his parents Ronald and Karen Matson in Oak Park, IL. He worked as a bindery operator at R.R. Donnelley for 10 years. In his off time, Jim enjoyed bowling and was an avid football fan, but he loved the Chicago Bears.

Jim is survived by his loving mother Karen; cherished brother Michael (Marin); and his dear friends Tim Cagney and Tim Copper and many cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9:30 am until time of prayers 10:30 am at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL. Procession afterwards to St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 S. Crest Ave. Bartlett, IL for Mass at 11:00am. Interment Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.
