James Matsas

James “Jimmy” Matsas, Beloved husband of Louisa (nee: Foukas), loving dad of Athanasios (Patricia), Dino (Mary) and Sophia; dear grandfather of Ioanna, Demetri, Konstantino, Athanasios, Stavros, Louisa and Stiles; fond brother of Alex (Jeanette), Alexandra (Angelo) Katsoulis, Alikikolovos, Panagiotis (Aleka), the late Theofanis (Palagia), the late Ariathni Lamprou and the late Eudoxia Fourxi. He is also survived by his Uncle Nonda “Dean” and many other relatives, cousins, nieces and nephews.
James was the owner of The Korner House Bar & Grill in Elk Grove Village since 1968 and was also the Honorary President of Metamorphosis (Tsatistinon) Greek Organization.
Visitation Tuesday November 14, 2017 from 11:00am until the time of service 12:00 noon at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Roselle Rd., Palatine, Il. 60067.
