James P. Leix, 91, of Bloomingdale died June 28, 2025. James was the beloved husband of Jeanne; loving father of James (Jayne), Leslie, Christina (Rocco), Sheri, Paul (Cathy) and Teresa; dear stepfather of Jonathan (Michelle), Jilliane (Henry) and Katherine (Josh); proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren.
James was an avid gardener. He was an army veteran and enjoyed making stained glass windows.
Visitation Tuesday July 1, 3:00pm – 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Funeral Wednesday 10:00am to St. Isidore Catholic Church, Mass 10:45am. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
