James "Jim" Koptik

James John Koptik, 60, of Roselle, passed away on July 5, 2024. Jim was born in Chicago, IL on February 12, 1964 to his parents George and Patricia Koptik, who preceded him in death. Jim was a treasured son, a beloved brother, and a dedicated husband and father. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Karina Danner Koptik; their three children, Zachary, Katerina, & Isabella; his favorite brother Michael Koptik (Susan A. Garr), and his cherished niece and nephew, Gillian and Benjamin (not to mention his slightly spoiled dogs, Gertie and Scout). A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle, IL. Funeral Wednesday, July 10, 2024 beginning with prayers at the Funeral Home at 12:45 pm then processing to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 551 North Rush St. Itasca, IL for Mass at 1:30 pm.
