James Karbach

James “Jim” Karbach, 70, of West Chicago, died Friday, August 6, 2021. Born May 14, 1951 in Chicago. James enjoyed driving anything he could get his hands on including motorcycles, boats and especially his 1972 Dodge Demon boats. Later in life he took up golfing to be with his friends. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of 44 years to Kathy (nee Britton); loving dad of Kelly (Sam Rees) Karbach, Jocelyn (Christian) Nelson and David, cherished grandpa of Zachary and Claire; dear son of the late Albert and Alba (nee Manone); dear brother of Donna and kind uncle of Cheri and Danella. Visitation 3:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory with a private inurnment at Wayne Township Cemetery to follow.
