James L. "Jim" Ross

Jim Ross, "Big Jim", 77, of Bartlett for 49 years, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024. Jim was a devout Chicago Blackhawks fan as well as a profound family man and avid golfer. Beloved husband of 57 years to Linda (nee Harris); loving father of Maureen (Mike) Normoyle, Darin (Sara), and Chris (Lori); cherished grandfather of Leo and Paige Przybylowski, Gavin Normoyle, Tyler and Liz Ross, Josh (fiancee Haley Mitacek), and Kayla (Dekota) Sciabaras; proud great grandfather of Blakely; devoted brother of Susan (Greg Matchett) Stewart and the late Gary (Connie); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear brother-in-law of Arla (Robert) Larson and Vicki (Wayne) O'Neil; former father-in-law of Leo Przybylowski. Jim was preceeded in death by his parents Joe (Barbara) Ross, his In-Laws Gordon and Jean Harris, his nephews Jason Stewart and Paul O'Neil, and a niece Becky O'Neil.

Visitation Friday, January 26 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm (please dress casual) at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett with memorial service at 6:00pm.
