James Janek

James “Jim” M. Janek, 69 of Bartlett since 1976. Beloved husband of Janis (nee Brugliera); loving dad of Michele (Rich) Kilcoyne and Michael; cherished pop-pop of Maggie and Jimmy; dear son of the late Theodore and Mildred (Staerk); caring brother of Ted (Nancy) and the late Thomas; kind son-in-law of Marion Brugliera and brother-in-law of Laurel (Doug) Phillips and Gary (Heidi) Brugliera; fond uncle to several nieces and nephews. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan and had a wealth of information that he used to his advantage while playing Trivial Pursuit. His warmth and sense of humor will be missed by his family and friends.
