James Isacson

James D. Isacson age 78 of Addison, IL, born September 6th, 1945 in Willmar Minnesota, passed away January 18, 2024.

James is survived by his three boys Kenneth (Michelle), Thomas (Kristen), Daniel (Michelle); grandchildren AJ, Morgan, and Madelyn; sister Shirley Isacson; and many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his former spouse Dolores Marek, the mother of his children. James was preceded in death by his mother Charlotte Isacson (née Walrath), brother Norman W. Isacson and sister Barbara Bogart.

James had a love of electronic gadgets, photography, good jokes, watching football, and was an avid Do It Yourselfer. He always had the right tool for any job. He loved giving his three sons the same tool to fill their toolbox. James graduated from Main East high school where he played on their football team. James was a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering. After graduating, he worked for Western Electric which was acquired by AT&T from which he retired.

Visitation Friday, January 26 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral procession begins Saturday 9:30am at the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church on Crane Rd. Mass 10:30am, followed by a luncheon. Private cremation at a later date.
