James Gray

James “Jim” D. Gray of South Elgin since 1984; beloved husband of Margo; loving dad of Sara (Seth) Habberfield of Hampshire; doting gramps of Kennedy; dear son of the late Donald and Vera (nee Densmore); fond brother of “Bob”(Debbie) of Dubois, PA, Carol Kaelin of Murrells Inlet, SC, Donna (Michael) Roesch of St. Charles, the late Ronald and Donald McDowell and brother-in-law of Lillian and Sandy; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Jim was a people person and along with Margo owned Creative Pools & Spas, Inc. for 30 years. He previously enjoyed snowmobiling and truck pulling. More recently he enjoyed taking cruises and spending time with family and friends. He also was a proud member of the South Elgin Riverfest Committee.

Visitation Tuesday, May 20 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street, (at Middle Road), South Elgin. Funeral Wednesday 11:00a.m. at the funeral home.
