James Furtek

James F. Furtek, 85, of Hanover Park since 1972. James was the beloved husband of Jean for 57 years; loving father of James (Amy) Furtek, Jr., Gregory (Kathryn), Diane (Randal) Shields, Steven (Kathryn) and the late John; proud grandfather of Nathan, Kyle, Ashley and John; he will be missed by his former daughter in law Heather (Dave) Slutzky and their son Jeff. James was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5151.

Visitation Saturday May 13, 11:00a.m. until time the of service 1:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory.
