James J. "Jim" Farley, 74, of Streamwood passed away Saturday May 14, 2011 at 9:10a.m. at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.
James was born in Chicago on Feb. 19, 1937 to William V. and Effie Farley. James served in the Army and was employed as a postal clerk at US Post Office in Palatine for 38 years.
On June 2, 1973, James and Harriet were married. James is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Harriet nee Hartmann and his loving children Pamela, Brian, Timothy and Jennifer.
James is preceded in death by his parents and sisters.
Visitation will be held Thursday 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral services Friday 11:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel. (630) 289-8054 or www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com.
