The funeral service for James “Jim” Travis Dutton of Streamwood, IL. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd., Streamwood/Schaumburg, IL.
  
  He was born September 5, 1921 in Prospect, Alabama, the son of James and Lessie Dutton.
  
  Jim served in the Air Force during WWII and was a current member of VFW Post 5151. He was a lifetime member of the Masons. He enjoyed woodworking, watching football, his pick-up truck and dreaming of what it would be like if he ran the world.
  
  He is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Jim) Hawkins, a son, David (Linda) Dutton and daughter-in-law, Judy Dutton, grandchildren Jeanna (Darin) Marquis, Jennifer (Corey) Dormire, Laurie (Chris) Cook, Andy (Heidi) Dutton and Tammy (Nathan) Wood, 14 great-grandchildren, his brothers “Red” and Cranford Dutton and a sister, Helen McKinley.
  
  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Norma Jean (O’Hare), a son, Billy, grandsons Tyler and Timothy, and sisters Vilee and Janie.
