James Dowling

James B. Dowling, 92, of Schaumburg, formerly of Hanover Park since 1968, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018. James was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army and was a DePaul graduate where he met his wife, Margaret, of 66 years. He was a kind man who always put family and faith first. Dear husband of Margaret (nee Hild); beloved father of Charlotte (Mark) Feicho, Joseph, Alice (Jack) Melhuish, Margaret (Mike) Roberts, Clare (Jim) Herriman; Tom (Nancy); Peter (Michelle), and Patricia “Patty” (Scott) Michelsen; loving grandfather of Anthony, Jack, Colette, Alice, Tim, Dr. Tom Roberts, Ellie, Christopher, Amanda, James “Patrick”, Margaret “Maggie”, Luke, Michael, Katie, Scotty, Tommy and the late James Dean; dear great grandfather of 13.
Visitation 3:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road), Streamwood. Prayers 9:15am on Saturday, July 28, to Mass 10:00am at St. Marcelline Catholic Church. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Flowers are welcome. 630-289-8054
