James lived a life that was deeply rooted in faith, community, and family. A graduate of Elmhurst College, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in 1951, and Eden Seminary, where he received his Bachelor of Divinity in 1955, James dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the service of God and his congregation. He proudly cheered for his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, and enjoyed traveling with his children across the country. His most treasured role was that of a grandfather and great-grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and took great joy in sharing stories that inspired and entertained them.
James's legacy is one of faith, service, and love. He raised two God-fearing children, instilling within them the values of faithfulness, hard-work, and generosity. His family, deeply united by his teachings, will carry on his legacy of faith and storytelling.
