Jacqueline Vozda

June 28, 1952 — February 24, 2025

Jacqueline Louise Vozda, beloved wife of Michael (Mick) Vozda, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025. Born on June 28, 1952, she was the cherished daughter of the late John (Jack) and late Joan Scholtus. Jackie, was known as a devoted sister to Corrine (Michael) Werderitch and the late Denise Hoefle, late Lenore Lemker, and late Michael Scholtus.

Jackie was a loving mother to Tina Hanley (Michael), Lori Serafini and Vicki Short (widowed by Thomas Short). She was also a caring stepmother to Joshua Vozda, Mandy Vozda, Sarah Vozda and Kendra Linebough. Her legacy continued through her adored grandchildren: Joseph, Jeremy, Janelle, Michael, Anthony, Frank, Matthew, Jonathon, Thomas, Kyle, and Taylor, along with Mick’s grandchildren, Ian, Jake, Logan, Tyler, Colton, Lily, Harmony Grace and Delilah.

Jackie’s heart grew even fuller as a great-grandmother to Thomas, Lakeson, Landon, Alessia and Braxxon, with three more little ones, soon to arrive. She was also a treasured aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie lived a life marked by remarkable achievements and selfless service. A successful real estate broker, she also dedicated herself to her church and community. Her compassion shone brightly as an American Red Cross first responder, notably during the 9/11 crisis, when she remained in New York for six months while others returned home. She also served during San Juan’s hurricane, Montana’s wildfires, and was an active AA member, among many other efforts.

In her later years, Jackie found profound joy in her marriage to Mick, who stood by her side with unwavering love and devotion, always placing her needs above his own. Together, they shared her happiest moments.

Now free from suffering, Jackie rests in peace with the eternity embrace of God. A Church Mass to celebrate her life will be held at Holy Archangels Parish (formerly known as St. Hubert) on March 7, 2025 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tunnel to Towers, Jackies Tunnel to Towers Link , a cause close to her heart. A foundation has been created in Jackie’s name.

Jackie’s light will continue to shine in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
