Jacqueline “Jackie” Tomaso, nee Ward, daughter of Francis and Lottie(nee Sarli) Ward and stepdaughter of Robert Zoller, left us suddenly Sunday morning April 3rd. Jackie was born and raised in Chicago, IL.
Jackie is survived by her husband Ronald E. of 57 years and daughters Michelle (Nate) Bockrath and Traci Tomaso. She is also survived by her brother Frank “Butch” (Maryola) Ward.
Jackie and Ron moved to West Chicago in 1970 and have remained since. Jackie worked and loved working at St. Andrews G&CC for over 40 years. Jackie was a strong person of faith and was an active member of her church, including a Eucharistic Minister, CCW member & president, a CCD teacher and a bingo kitchen volunteer.
In her retirement, Jackie was a member of the Wayne Township Senior Center, where she enjoyed games, luncheons, gambling trips, vacation trips and volunteering.
But her biggest joy, was being a Nana to her grandson Jack Bockrath.
