Jacqueline Joy Moe, 82, formerly of Chicago, died May 31, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Matt; loving mother of Gary, Cheryl (Dale) Aberly, Douglas (Barbara), and Linda Bruchert; Proud Bestemor of Kari (Samuel) Sillitti, Kristen, and Erik Aberly, Rebecca, Christine (Christopher) Prykop, and Michael Moe. Patrick (Rachel) Bruchert, and Ryan Bruchert, great grandmother of McKinley and Emily Sillitti, and Jaxsyn Prykop. Cherished sister of the late Willard, Mildred, Russell, and Kenneth, fond sister-in-law of Hazel Czeszewski. Beloved aunt of Carole Bison, and T. Scott Semrau. Many other loving nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Jacqueline was president of the Women’s Auxiliary and a volunteer at Norwegian American Hospital. She was Social Director and Drill Team member for Bjornstjerne Bjornson Lodge #97, and current member of Skjold Lodge #100. She was named woman of the day by WBBM radio for her volunteer work. Jacqueline also volunteered for Alden Poplar Creek nursing home and hospice in Elk Grove Village.
Visitation for Jacqueline Monday, June 3, 3:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Tuesday 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Memory Gardens.
