Jacqueline Hewitt

Jacqueline "Sally" Hewitt (nee Schmidt), 86, of Roselle for 56 years, died Sunday, March 17, 2013. Born August 18, 1926 in Chicago. She was the daughter of Edmund and Mildred (nee Olson) Schmidt. Sally enjoyed being with her friends at the Bloomingdale, Medinah and St. Walter Senior Clubs. She took great pride in the cleanliness of her house and her work at Indian Lakes Banquets but her true passion was her family.
Beloved wife of the late Clarence; loving mother of Patricia "Pat" (Victor) Barba; cherished grandma of Kevin (Lindsey), Matt and Jeff Barba; dear great-grandma to one on the way; caring sister of Robert (the late Nancy) Schmidt, Maureen (Robert) Stark and the late John; fond sister-in-law of Evelyn; special friend of Midge the pug and Aunt of many.
Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle. Funeral Friday 9:30a.m. to St. Walter, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven.
